Totally agree, but I am so desperate for an XF3...I don't think they could do it without the Surferman though...he owns it all, doesn't he?

There is just no reasonable scientific explanation why they would do it without him. I think that's nothing but rumors. I mean, no one else can do this, NO ONE, no Spielberg, no King, no Forster. Okay, maybe Spotnitz, but I doubt he would do it without CC.

what??? No CC??? Despite my love/hate/torrent relationship with CC I do have to admit he is incredibly essential to TXF. I wouldn't feel the same...

Whatever, Its a bit blasphemous to think about the show without Chris, because, I mean come on. Really? But IWTB did nothing for the franchise, and thats probably the point of XF3, this is quite possibly their last chance, if you thought that IWTB was a make-it or break-it kind of thing, this should be 1000 times that. But whatevs. I want another movie so goddamn bad. 3 is a magic number...

Maybe with IWTB CC was just a bit out of practice. Or he was still too much in love and too heart broken with FM&DS and therefore wrote a story that was rather based on those two characters than on any kind of paranormal story. I was still in love and heart broken too, so I just soked up the their relationship and a little bit of agent Whitney ('cause really kinda liked her) and was happy for the moment. But now I am ready and hot for some real X-Files story, with a lot of Mulderims, Scully cocking eyebrows, mytharc, black oil, conspiracies, old school Mulder and Scully arguements and pick ons, aliens and some real bad ass Krycek-like enemies!!
