For those of you who have read the sookie stackhouse novels you know the description charlaine harris gave of Sophie Anne...
As far as she was described i expected her to be child like in ways ...
she was supposed to have the features of someone no older than 15 however she was intimidating in ways ....
the actress they chose to play sophie anne completely disappointed me ,, and personally i cant picture her in any other episodes ...
and im rather disappointed.

what are your opinions
Like her love her?

She adds another dimension not seen in the books. The Maenaed was more encompassing in the vid than in the book. Lafayette is still alive too...that is great as the actor portrays him fantastically. What you look at is correct but the show does not parallel the books that well and season two encompassed 2 of the books. Where is the King of Mississippi? It is different but not bad...although I was looking for Sofia Anne's guardians.

I agree with you that the series departs from the books a lot, and in a good way. It keeps things interesting, and adds a new layer to the story. At the same time, I'm not thrilled with how Evan Rachel Wood is playing Sofia Ann. She's such a powerful character, and she instills fear and respect in others in the books. Wood's character is coming across as a flake. I think Wood would have been better as Lorena, and the actress playing Mary Anne should have been cast as Sofia Anne. Then she would have been around a little while longer!
