A detail, but as a european west-wing fan I have to get rid of it: It's a shame there hasn't been more research done on european / international first and last names! An example: No MAN in Iceland would ever be called "...dottir", since "dottir" means daughter. So a male name would be "jonsson", a female last name would be "jonsdottir". But also Swiss, French, Russian, Swedish etc. names are not very plausible, but it would have added to the show's quality.
