I liked the way it ended, it refected her real life putting the viewer more in tune with the emotions that provoked her to write this show. Being a comedy it was a downer but if it would've ended like all the other episodes did than that would have been more disappointing. She made it seem that behind the comedy the real life struggle of a lower middle class family isn't all masked by humor. So thats enough insight for me....bravo to the ending.
I totally know what you mean by that, i felt like i had been made a fool of in some ways lol! But i think i'll choose to ignore season 9 and just remember the good times (WITH Dan!!!)
But yeah still a show very close to ,my heart. I actually sobbed my way through the episode when Harris was born, i'm such a sucker for emotional scenes!!!
Yeah, even though I loved the show for many years, the final episode was kind of disappointing. To be honest, I felt kind of cheated; it made me feel that everything I had watched was a lie.
I watched it for the first time last night and it was AWFUL :( why the hell ruin such an amazing and ground breaking show like that? they should have let it go when they were on top....it made me feel sooooo sad.
And the episode before the final two with dans mum...what the hell was that all about?
Still it hasn't changed the fact that it's one of my very favourite shows, i just won't be watching series 9 again a hurry :)
the last epiode kind pissed me off how darlene and becky were married to eachothers husbands and everything was backwards. the earlier episodes were the best!

haha i had a Roseanne day today, looking at all sorts of stuff on youtube and i nearly fainted when i saw how young Lecy Goransen still looks!! :D
