I believe that it was a good episode in itself, but with it being the season finale, it was indeed too rushed. I mean, we got almost all the crucial "ending" information in about 1 and a half minutes. It was good to get story lines closed up, but not so hastily.
And I agree that there should have been something about Ned's family, and not just in the finale but more throughout the entire season... I mean, could you ever really have enough of Alex and Graham Miller?

I think if it went for another season, they would reveal that Ned's dad had the same powers as Ned and probably brought Ned back to life with it and didn't want to risk killing Ned, so he left. That also explains why he was all wrapped up when he saved Ned.

I felt like the entire episode was rushing through at double speed. The show is fast paced as it is so it really felt like your head was being spun off. And I wish the whole thing with Ned's dad could have been resolved and I would have liked Olive to be let in on Ned's secret.

I understand they wanted to tie all the ends up, but it just seemed like they were cramming everything in they possibly could. The dialogue goes so fast anyway, that I had a very hard time keeping up with the sped up ending. So sad that it is ending. How could this possibly not continue?

i think continuing it as a comic book is a really bad idea - i mean, its a comic book! maybe a movie.... that would make my life....
i wanted to know more about everything! where did chucks dad go? did they say anything about that?
and do we ever find out neds last name, and why he calls her chuck...?

to many questions left unanswered.... plus it was a clify ender... I need more!!

it was as if they had forced a nice pie in our moths like... EAT IT DAMMIT!
it was kinda hard to digest that it was the series finale...
