I just thought i would tell you that i finished reading The Sweet Far Thing. Yes, i did cry when Kartik 'died' (if that's what you can call it.) I also cried when Ms. McCleethy(?) died. it was a really good book, and it had a great ending too. i just wish another one would come out.
