Honestly, this has got to be my favourite episode all season. :)
My friend and I were talking before the episode came along and she thought Dan was going to betray Nathan, though we both believed Nathan was not the father of her baby. I said no. I thought that Dan would help Nathan. Expose all her flaws. Do everything, pick apart her story, to get it out of her. But there was still always that small part of me that thought maybe he wouldn't, exposing Renae was just my hope.
And it came true.
I could not believe it. I was so excited, I couldn't help but scream "GO DAN!" It make total sence he would do that. He knows what he's done is wrong, and he accepts that, if he could he would change it. But his family still hates him. All he wants is forgivness.
Personally, if Nathan and Haley don't atleast send him a card saying thank you, I will be pissed. That would be a very rude thing to do. No one else was willing to find out the truth, they were all quick to judge. But not Dan. He wanted to help Nathan. And if Nathan doesn't say thank you, it's a slap in the face. Dan could have taken Nathan's dream away, but he didn't. He made it stronger. A simple Thank You, despite how much he hates him, would not harm anyone. It's well deserved.
Now Clay... Jeez. My friend found it freaky he was talking to a ghost. Sure it is, but it explained why he is the way he is. I would just like to know how she died from drinking grape Kool-Aid! It was driving me crazy... Which leads me to my next belief:
I believe Clay may be the father of the unborn baby. He even said that he is 'always lonely'. Esspecially that night. Why couldn't it be his baby? It could be. He's a whore, she is a little too. He was lonley, drunk, she was drunk as well. Could make an interesting twist in the show.
One thing I didn't understand, why wouldn't Nathan push a paternity test? Guess they need the suspense.
:)
