Nip/Tuck follows the lives of Sean McNamara (Dylan Walsh) and Christian Troy (Julian McMahon), two plastic surgeons running a clinic in Miami, Florida who lead very different lives and have very different issues. Sean is a family man who uses work to avoid dealing with his family problems from his needy and spiteful wife, Julia (Joely Richardson), to his rebellious son, Matt (John Hensley). Christian is a womanizing narcissist whose moral fiber is highly suspect.
