David was Libby's husband who died,she told this to Desmond in a flash back when Libby gave Desmond the boat in season 2 :)

I think Dave as in Hurley's invisible or not invisilbe friend and David, Libby's husband might be one and the same..OR..Libby is a liar...Personally I always thought that Libby knew Desmond would be there and offered him the boat..maybe had something to do with Widmore's plan..or maybe Jacob's cause I can't believe Widmore would want Desmond on the Island when he is looking for it himself..unless he knew he could track him..

I'm rambling again..

question is Who gives someone they had coffee with $45,000.00 boat.???.umm a crazy person??? No one is that touched by a love story..please!!

On a lighter yet related note,
4 weeks ago a gorgeous Tortie kitty wandered into my garage cold and wet from the rain. She was purring and talking and acted like she lived here.
Ate for an hour off an on and curled up and went to sleep.
After placing newspaper and radio ads no one has claimed her so she's mine.
She's LOST and I'll never know her story. So I named her Libby.
