JINS TEMPERTANTRUM AT THE GOLF CORSE WAS SUPER IMPORTANT AND FITS IN THE LOST MYSTERIES FOR SURE. HE SEEMED TO BE POSSESSED AS HE WAS LOOKING IN THE SKY AND TALKING( COMPLAININGLY ) TO THE GODS. SUN EVEN QUOTED AROUND THE SAME TIME THAT JIN WAS NO LONGER THE MAN SHE MARRIED. I THINK JIN ON THE GOLF CORSE IS THE FIRST TIME WE SEE A GLIMPSE OF THE MYSTERY MAN IN BLACK FROM SEASON 5 'S FINALE. .... I WANT TO KNOW WHAT EVEYONE ELSE THINKS OF THE TEMPERTANTRUM????????????

i really dont agree with this theory. so u think that this entire time it was the mystery dude from s5 until locke died. i think the idea would b kinda redundant. yemi and smokey, sawyer and wayne, and now locke n flocke. i doubt jin too has been possessed. i'll admit that the canton-rainier (reincarnation rearranged) carpet cleaner van was a clue to what would happen but i think that was more for the locke n flocke...

no, i dont think the entire time, i just think it shows that hes been using people whenevr for whatever he needs to set up or get done....... remeber he was crying yelling hes so alone. if it was only jin , why would he be crying saying hes so alone when he has sun and the other losties.? it wouldnt make since if it was only jin speaking at this time.

He's throwing a temper tantrum. You can never apply logic to the words of an angry man.

Not to mention the fact that, at the time (during the timeline), I believe he and Sun were on the outs. Which means he didn't have a translator, basically making it impossible for him to communicate with the other LOSTies.

It's like the Drowning Pool lyric from "Bodies": "You're all by yourself, but you're not alone." Jin was isolated even though he was a part of the survivor group, because he couldn't communicate with them. He was speaking figuratively.

I think this whole segment was really just for yuks. One of the writers probably, at one point, thought, "Wouldn't it be awesome if Jin just finally exploded? Yeah! Let's have him do it Happy Gilmore style!"

i dont think that was the man in black for the following reason:

i am fairly confident, considering the fact that the only people who appear out of thin air are dead (minus walt, but he is special so that's a whole other thing), that the man in black can only shape shift into dead people. that is why flocke told richard that he needed to die. so that he could take over locke's position as leader to get ben (a mortal) to kill jacob. that, i believe, is "the loophole" referred to in the beginning of the S5 finale.
