Shouldn't we be asking ..why was Daniel, able to talk to Desmond, who answered his call at the Swan station dressed in the yellow suit (forget the name of it)?? ..we never saw that happen! Where was Kelvin at that time, was he already dead, and if so, then why would Desmond put the suit on? If it was before the crash, why wouldn't Desmond wonder why Daniel didn't need a suit and Kelvin did..and if it happened after the crash, why would Desmond see the need to answer the door wearing it? Additionally, if it did happen before Kelvin died, wouldn't Desmond tell Kelvin about it? He doesn't get many visitors at the Swan station!

that was already answered hun. rem. dan says the reason y sawyer cant bang on the door and talk 2 desmond b/cuz they didn't meet in the past b4. so they cant meet now. but dan n des met in the pass. (at oxford)

if kevlin was still alive he could of possibly went out of the swan station. we know that he was doing that when he was tryin 2 repair des's boat n steal it. n if kelvin was dead by this time he prob. just put on any suit not realizing it was kelvin's to answer the door. so it would make sense 4 him 2 put on a suit cuz he thinks that the "disease" is outside the door. i think he didn't have a chance 2 ask dan y he wasn't wearing a suit. he was more puzzeled that there was a strange man outside is door. ur rite he doens't get many visitors so he would b like who r u, how did u get here?

I thought the very same thing Joyce...and the only explanation I came up with is that the lost writers weren't counting on us picking this up and they put Desmond in the suite to give the shock effect to the viewers when he took his mask off. :)
