If you Love Lucy and other Quality Classic Television Shows, Shows that USED to be on Nick at Nite or Tv Land Then you NEED to READ this and ACT on it!!!
I have been watching Tv Land a lot, infact watched it ever since it has been around, it always used to be CLASSIC TV. Shows they aired were shows that we enjoyed watching, shows we grew up with, shows we didn't neccessarily grow up with, but fell in love with.
Nick at Nite used to be the same way, then they decided to do away with extra Classic programs, and put on newer stuff. I don't know about you all, but I miss the way it used to be. What's worse, i watch Tv Land now and there are all these Reality Shows and now they are adding "Scrubs", which is a very new show. I am not knocking the show by any means, not saying it is a bad show, maybe there are those of you who do enjoy this show But Let's face it [Scrubs] belongs on Fox or TBS, it is hardly Classic Tv, Which is defined as something Nostalgic or Vintage, Aged to perfection, such as Wine . Reality Shows also don't belong there. I recently wrote Tv Land telling them about how disappointed with their programming I am, shows they need to delete and shows they need to bring back. One letter won't make a difference, but many many more I think will. Especially if they think they will lose viewers. I know you Love Classic Tv as much as I do, and I know you know other people that do too, and those people probably watch it and so forth, If we can Forward this to people who we know who watch this chanel and tell them to put in their input, maybe we can put an end to this crap they are publishing now, and make way for shows that we want back.

I don't know who is in charge of programming anymore, but I am write to let you know that at one time I was a HUGE fan of Nick at Nite and TV Land. I remember the way it USED to be, the shows that were on, Nick at Nite was once all CLASSIC TV at nite then you expanded to make way for more shows.
Now I see shows like SCRUBS and all these REALITY SHOWS and I must say I am very dissappointed. I am not knocking SCRUBS, but I would hardly call it CLASSIC TV. It belongs on a station like FOX or TBS.
Most viewers would agree that they liked it when TV LAnd and Nick at Nite had classic shows, watchable shows, for the family.
Why can't you bring back shows like The Facts of Life, Mr. Belvedere, Gimme a Break, The Love Boat, The Lucy Show, Here's Lucy, Get Smart, Rowan and Martin's Laugh In, Sonny and Cher, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Maude, the Mary tyler Moore Show, Dick Van Dyke, and Empty Nest?
These are shows that people WANT to see. Everyone gets Nostalgic, Even my generation does. We wnat shows that we once loved and can't see anymore, that is why we all fell in love with Nick at Nite and Tv Land, because it made people feel young again, you gave us shows that we were familiar with growing up, no longer in syndication, and it was wonderful.
There were shows you once had that my Grandparents and Parents watched when they were young. These shows I too fell in Love with, like Lucy for example. The Lucy Show used to be on Nick at Nite. Then Nick at Nite was re-formatted for newer shows and TV Land was for Classic Tv, and even that's not that way anymore.
Anyways I hope you would re-consider what you are doing to the line-up. Bring back CLASSIC Tv. If the reality shows and NEW?NOW shows keep coming, I can guarentee you will lose devoted viewers like myself, and my man, many friends who also enjoy Classic Tv."
You can Write what you want, but the point is to make thse programmers realize that The Old shows mean a lot. There are shows out there that you and many other people WANT to see that are sadly no longer in syndication or available on DVD.
Fwd this Email to your friends and viewers of Nick at Nite and Tv LAnd and urge them to write. I realized one letter isn't enough for them to take notice, but if other "concerned" viewers such as yourselves write we can do something, if they realize they will lose viewers. Like the old addage goes "The squeaky wheel gets the grease"

it will ask you for a show, I left it blank. Because I had a gripe about ALL the NEWER Shows (Reality, Scrubs etc.)
Let's Bring back watchable television, let's bring back shows that can live in the hearts of future generations, just as it was for us. Think of it as a way to preserve Americana, a part of History.
