Logan Murphy walked down the halls of the Primatech facility in Hartsdale, New York. Bob Bishop, leader of the Company, had called him here for his next assignment. Murphy knocked on the door of Bob's office.
"Come in," came Bob's voice. Murphy opened the door and entered, sitting in a chair across from Bob's desk.
"Do you have my next assignment?" Murphy asked.
"I do", Bob replied. He took a large dossier out from his desk and handed it to Murphy. "This is your next target: Cillian Avery. He's been classified as a level 5 threat; his ability allows him to draw energy from his environment and redirect it as lightning, fire, or heat."
"Why send me in?"
"Your metallic skin is flameproof, and invulnerable to electricity," Bob replied. "You're the perfect person to take him down and bring him back here. He has a fascinating ability, but he is dangerous. We'll have to keep him here on Level 5."
"Got it," Murphy said.
"Here's what you'll need," Bob said, referring to the items laid out on his desk. "Standard Company pistol and tranquilizers."
Murphy picked up the items. "Um, how am I getting to Boston, by the way?"
"We just captured a teleporter," Bob replied. "He'll get you where you need to be, and teleport back here. When you're done, call us. He'll teleport you and Avery back to this facility."
"Sounds good. Where is he?"
"Come in, Daniel!" Bob called.
Murphy turned around. The door to Bob's office opened, and a teenaged boy, about sixteen walked in. He had light skin, despite it being summer, was tall, and had shaggy brown hair. He was dressed in a Superman T-shirt and blue jeans.
"Logan Murphy, meet Daniel Gray," Bob said. "Daniel, I need you to teleport Mr. Murphy here into Boston. Can you do that?"
"Yeah," Daniel began, "but I need a picture; I've never been to Boston before."
"Of course," Bob said. He grabbed a photograph from his desk and showed it to Daniel. "There. Teleport into that alley by the pub, so no one sees you."
"Um, ok, let's go, then", Daniel told Logan. Logan got up; Daniel put his hand on Logan's shoulder and closed his eyes. Suddenly, they were in a dark alley.
