Hello everyone. My name is Mandy and I am an officer with the Grey's Anatomy Application. This discussion thread is simply for all of you to know why we don't accept some of your submissions. It is also to tell you what is up with the application. The new things that make this community even more exciting than it already is! We want you to have fun but there are certain guidelines that must be met in order for that to happen.

Please do not submit anymore questions or quotes from the first 3 seasons. Chances are it has already been submitted. If you would like a particular quote, please check the ones that are already there. If there is a typo or mispelling, etc, please report it.

Before you report a question please make sure you have read it through correctly. Some of your fellow app members have made them tricky!

I would like to go over appropriate/inappropriate trivia questions really quickly. Inappropriate trivia questions are any questions that do not have to do with the show. Personal trivia about the actors, anything to do with the DVDs, etc. If you can not get the answer by watching the show then the questions are inappropriate. Appropriate questions, beside the obvious, do include the back door pilot to Private Practice. It was part of a Grey's Anatomy episode therefore it is deemed appropriate.

Other things that I am requesting you do not submit:

Questions about episode names, questions about who is sleeping with whom, questions that are sexual in nature. You can submit them, I might not approve them depending on the question. the reason is that the show is TV 14 and I would like to keep that application PG rating if possible.

If you are submitting questions please check your spelling. They now go through an approval process and we have to correct the spelling, punctuation, and grammar so that it doesn't get reported. Double check it for us please so that it will be easier for us to approve and get more questions out there. The current characters and the proper spellings of their names are in the thread titled 'character names'.

Articles:
Articles must be written by YOU and only YOU. Copying and pasting is against copyright laws. Any articles that have been copied and pasted will not be approved. Sorry guys, we have to look out for ourselves. Come up with something different and creative. Double check your spelling and submit! We can't wait to see what your creative minds are up to!

Quizzes!

Just an fyi: We can edit, approve, and delete them so if there are some that do not follow the above content rules then they will be deleted. If there are some misspellings or confusing questions they will be edited. If there are any duplicates, they will be deleted. Also, please report them as you see dupes or incorrect questions.

Before you submit a quiz:

Please be sure to check it over and ask yourself these questions:

Is it a unique quiz IE noone has submitted the same type one?
Does it have enough questions (8 or more)?
Do you think people will enjoy taking this quiz?

If you answered yes to all of these questions then it is a good possibility your quiz will be accepted. =)

Photos:

Please do not submit photoshopped images. They will be removed.

Copyrighted will also not be approved. (Anything previously published in magazines, books, etc.)

Duplicates or photos similar to those we already have will not be approved. If a photo has slipped by us, which does happen occasionally, it will be removed.

Basic Behavior Rules:

We can delete wall posts. Watch what you say or it will be deleted.

If there are problems with a member we can now suspend you for 24 hours. We will warn you first as a courtesy then after that you will be suspended. If you continually cause problems after that we can remove and ban you from the application. This doesn't usually happen but with so many members we need to have this option.

This application is for EVERYONE to enjoy so please be courteous to everyone. If you can't and cause disruption within our happy community, please find somewhere else to be. Thanks!

I have been noticing quite a few spoilers post to the walls. There is a notification at the top of the wall stating not to post spoilers there. If you post a spoiler on the wall you will be suspended for 24 hours. This is to protect all of our members. Identification of spoilers is at the discretion of the officers. Thanks!
