SUBMISSIONS

Only submit items that are directly related to the television show Friends. Questions about a cast member’s personal life, for example, are not acceptable. Also, personal and inappropriate items, such as personal photos and quizzes, are not acceptable, and will therefore be deleted. Furthermore, users may be suspended for submitting personal and inappropriate items to the application.

Before submitting a quote, please check to ensure that the quote cannot already be found on the application. For instance, “How you doin?” is submitted by many people every day, and they will all be deleted because that quote has already been submitted.

Please do not submit the same thing twice. If you submit it one time, the officers will review it in a timely manner. If it is acceptable, we will approve it. If it is not acceptable, we will delete it. If you submit it again, we will delete it again.

REPORTING ITEMS

Please report items that contain misspellings or inappropriate content, those that are incorrect, or those that have been repeated.

Cultural differences in language are not necessarily misspellings (example: mom vs. mum). Please do not report something simply because of cultural differences.

You are welcome to report any problems to the officers of this application, but please do not contact other members about problems with their trivia, quotes, quizzes, etc., as they cannot fix their own submissions. It is not necessary, and is quite rude, to inform the author that they are wrong about something.

Please only report quizzes when there is something wrong with them. The officers cannot change your scores or delete quizzes from your profile.

DISCUSSION BOARD

Please check old topics before starting a new discussion topic. Duplicated topics will be deleted to encourage everyone to use the existing threads.

Please review the FAQ threads for answers to common questions about the application and the show. If your question is not listed, ask it in the appropriate thread. Do not start a new thread to ask a question.

NEW RULE ON SUBMISSIONS

All submissions (trivia, photos, quizzes, etc.) must be original. That means you must create it. We will not accept material from outside sources, like the Friends Generation website for example. Nothing copyrighted, owned, etc. by anyone else (or any other company) will be allowed.

This is serious everyone. If you fail to follow this rule you will be automatically warned. Further problems will result in suspension and/or your removal of the application permanently.

A NOTE ON CHARACTER NAMES:

When submitting trivia, quizzes or photos please remember not to use nicknames like "Red Ross" or "Phoebs" unless the submission is directly about that name. Also, remember to always capitalize people's names and nicknames. No computer shorthand will be accepted.
