I just think the actor that plays Matt is a bad actor or maybe that is the way he is supposed to be. He never looks the other characters in the eye and the way he speaks just drives me crazy. He is probably my least favorite even though he has a tough life taking care of grandma. Anyone else thinking the same thing? Riggins is my fave but I don't like him with Lyla. I think he belongs with Tyra.

Couldn't disagree with you more. The social issues that Matt has developed from being sheltered by his grandmother are the reason that he can't look people in the eyes and has a problem with his speech. If that's not what they're going for, then they fooled me, because I think that Zach Gilford does a great job as Matt Sarecen.
