Flight of the Conchords is a comedy TV show based on the songs of the New Zealand duo that goes by the same name. Jermaine Clemaine (Jermaine Clement) and Bret McClegnie (Bret McKenzie) are struggling musicians who moved to New York City to try to achieve their dreams. The two our managed by their friend, Murray Hewitt (Rhys Darby), who works at the New Zealand consulate. Mel (Kristen Schaal) is the bands one and only fan and she is overly obsessed with the duo often stalking them. The Bret and Jermaine have one good friend, Dave (Arj Barker), who gives them advice about how to survive in America.
