Jubal Early was one of the more complex characters I have seen anywhere. He's pretty ruthless but he's got a humane side (i.e. knocking mal out and gently lowering him into his bunk to handcuff him). wouldn't mind seeing more (assuming he didnt die) WHEN we get the show back on.
