Ok, I am a Family Guy fan and have been since before Fox cancelled it and then really got hooked again when it started on Adult Swim...I bleed Family Guy and LOVE playing the trivia (up to like 32,000 points)....anyhow, What did everyone think about last night's show???

I have found that each season's first episode lacks its usual funny-as-hell status, I mean, a whole episode based on Brian and Cleveland (more Cleveland than anything else)...are they trying to build/expand his character? I wasn't impressed with it...I did however love Stewie's advise that he kept giving Brain though...esp. at the end when he said, "Well, you should have hit that from the beginning"...classic....

Anyone else's thoughts, please write back, I love talking Family Guy!
Have a great day,

I agree - but where were Meg and Chris? The show isn't the same without them?

I am a HUGE Family Guy fan as well. have been watching it first on Fox, then on TBS/Adult Swim and now back on Fox - I love the FAmily Guy marathons on TBS. I think it's hysterical and I love the randomness. The Star Wars episode is one of my favorites!

HOWEVER.....last night's episode did leave me quite disappointed. There were some funny parts, but on a whole, i wasn't impressed. First of all, the political jabs are really annoying me...we are bombarded all day and night with this election and all I wanted to do was sit down and laugh and not think about all the turmoil we're in! The whole atheist thing wasn't very funny either.....I think the writers are putting too much of their beliefs into the show. I know, I know "don't watch the show then", but I think the other parts are so hysterical, I just have to watch! And I will keep watching.

Anyway, just had to vent that.

ps
I love how Cleveland said "Curlyn".

I myself missed the premiere of the episode, i think this is down to the fact i live in England, but luckily found a streaming video after looking for it for some time, and that time was left in vein. Reason being is the episode lacked the amount of random jokes, the fact the episode seemed to try and have a point too it for once, that isnt family guy too me, i preferred to watch the episode and be as clued up as i was from the beginning. Hopefully the next episode is different and will have a lot more humour too it or I will not be a happy fan at all!
