His death took me by surprise. I was not expecting it at all. He wasn't my favorite character but he was good.

Pratt's death was very moving, its the only episode close to real life

Dr. Pratt's death was a surprise to me .It seemed that things were finally coming together for him.I also am saddened by this being the last yr for this wonderful story,I have watched this from the very first episode back when it Dr.Ross and Dr Green.Dr. Carter was just learning how to be a doctor.It will be the end of an era.There will probably never be a better show that was as close to real life. I put ER right up there with another great series like " M A S H ".
