I hope Dr. Carter will get his kidney. I can't wait to see which past doctors return. i wonder what's going to happen between Simon and Neela.

Wow... it was a pretty exciting episode. I knew that Dr. Carter's stabbing would have something to do with his being on dialysis. I can't wait to see the returning faces over the next few episodes, but I will say that from watching the preview of future episodes, I don't think Neela and Ray will be together.... it looks like Neela gets shot?????? That could be an interesting twist.... not a happy one, but an interesting one.

Its not neela that gets shot its Archies cop girlfriend!

I am enjoying the tension between Gates and Sam!! I first thought carter and sam would hook up when he came home. I also thought the new partner for claudia is gonna set her up!! I love the "mattress tag". Kills me to see her face change from so serious to a demonic, devilish look. Poor Sam's mom..I really thought Sam got through to her, but I was wrong when she said to her, " I wish I had a daughter like you." Crushing.. One of the best episodes. Only 5 more and the series ends, I will be in tears as I have spent the last 15 seasons with all of them!!

Interesting episode, I wonder what happens to Carter. Also, does anyone think that Carter was lying about his disease? Because that is really, really bad luck, and possibly an excuse for what is really wrong with him. I ask because it shows him needing help and even fainting in future episodes, which doesn't make much sense. People on dialysis can live a long time.

Only 5 episodes left, I wonder how it will end. I also can't wait to see Benton, Lewis, Carol and Ross. Yes Ross, he's going to be back too even though it didn't show his picture in the end of the episode. It's been in the papers for months now.

So if you remember from the preview before carter's return, it said he was back for 5 episodes. Well he's already been on or 2.... and there's 5 left total. So there's two episodes where he won't be on! I'm hoping it means that he gets better instead of dying. :(
He's not lying about the dialysis because in future episode summaries it says he's waiting to receive a kidney and it's a major storyline. (if you go to tvguide.com and search for future Thursdays guide, you can see the summaries for the episodes).
I feel so bad for Sam. I'm hoping her mom will remember her because I think sam really does want the relationship back.
Also, it is Archie's girlfriend that get's shot.

Only 5 episodes left... including the 2 hour finale on April 2nd. I read somewhere that the first hour is like a tribute to ER over the past 15 years! If that's true... i'm going to need a box of Kleenex.

have just re-watched the episode where Carter and Lucy got stabbed, and he didnt lose the kidney, Anspaugh and Benton were able to save it

I absolutely loved this show. I honestly thought Carter was serious when he was talking to Clair about the kidney. I am thrilled that he is back even if it is just for a few episodes. I really missed the character of John Carter.

I am SO mad at them for bringing Carter back just to have him be sick.
I really thought he was serious last night too with Dr. Banfield. lol....what a funny (and cute) guy!
