Could You Be A Reaper?

While watching the episodes over and over again, I started to wonder if being a reaper was a job I would actually be interested in. There are certain advantages and disadvantages to being a reaper like getting to meet new people and the fast healing (opinions may differ on whether these are advantages or disadvantages). But my question is: Is this a job that you could do?

The people you get to meet will soon die, you have to have a second job to support yourself anyway, you have to stay away from the people you love (while they are still alive) and being a reaper lasts an eternity... So, personally, I don't think the fast healing is a strong enough reason to make all the reaping thing seem less horrible.

Not all of the reapers had a second job to support themselves-- Daisy, Mason, and Rube didn't work regularly outside of being reapers. Also, you aren't a reaper for eternity-- eventually someone takes your place.

Well, I used "an eternity" as an expression, because it lasts really really REALLY long! It lasts many lifetimes, if you prefer.

Mason steals etc, so he does win his living one way or the other.

I think I would be able to do it. As long as it's not a child or animal I would be fine.

I think I could be a reaper... I'd be a bit like Betty, cheerful and enjoying my job, yet Roxy with the take no shit attitude, I'd work in the Murder, Suicide, Accident division, When I say enjoying my job, I don't mean in a creepy way lol

I think I could be a reaper...Murder, Suicide, Accident, etc. Division 1st; then probably the Natural Causes division. I would be like Betty in her happy attitude, but like Mason in the fuck-up/being late sense.
