Langston experiences his first day on the job as a CSI when he investigates what appears to be a simple burglary. Soon, however, the case overlaps with an arson and a murder.
I agree that the show just won't be the same without Grissom. I did enjoy how Nick decided the share his office though...it just shows how much he meant to them as a team. Langston seems like he is going to be pretty good. I, too, enjoy how they are showing his journey basically from the bottom forward.
I agree. He's been such a fixture. I'd bet we see him again SOMEHOW! I did enjoy this weeks show. I love that they are showing the growth of Langston even in the early stages of the character. He truly hit the ground running. He has some humility but is not too much of a stuffed shirt. He's just eager to dive in. We'll see how it goes from here I guess...
It's going to take some time before I'm used to CSI without Grissom. Langston is great, but it will be a while before I become emotionally invested in him as a character.
I am amused and amazed on how the show is evolving. Grissom could never be replaced. He was the core and heart and teacher. Producers made a smart choice casting L. Fishbourne as Dr. Ray Langston. I like his character and agree with other fans' comments on how he is not perfect from the start, he is building his own way up in a humble way making his own mistakes and learning from them all. A new era for CSI. Of course I will keep watching the show.
