The CSI team is shocked and saddened when, after working with Dr. Raymond Langston (Fishburne) on the "Dick & Jane" murders, Grissom announces that his time as a CSI has come to an end and offers Langston a permanent position on the CSI team
I liked the episode in general but I didn't think it was a good enough send off. I know it is basically what the character would have wanted, Grissom was so uncomfortable with anyone getting emotional about his leaving, but as a fan I wanted a little more. Still love the show, though.
CSI has always been my number one favorite show but I was very disappointed with the episodes of Grissom's farewell. It was just another mass murderer show and kind of boring one at that. He could have gone out in a much better way. It could be that the show has run it's course or that maybe I've just grown tired of it, but I have been very disappointed in the last couple of seasons. Now that Grissom is gone I'm not sure I will watch anymore. They will have to beef up the stories a lot. It's sounding like they're stuck in the mass murderer of the day mode and I know they can do much better than that.
he was great actor, i heard he would leave in a later episode (in the Uk we've only just seen For Warrick) hopefully Lawrence Fishburne will be able to fill the role.
I was sad to hear William Peterson was not going to be on the screen anymore. He is a fantastic actor. But I'm excited to see where the show goes with Lawernce Fishburne.
