I was really disappointed when Grissom left!!I am not really fond of Fishburne and i think Greg has grown up too much,he's not as funny as is the show!!!!
I think this episode was the best one since Grissom left, but I also spend most of the episodes now comparing the current crew to the old crew. I feel there now lacks a main character; Catherine hasn't really stepped up to be the "team leader" for me yet. While I appreciate that they're not throwing Fishbourne in as an experienced member of the team, I haven't warmed to his character yet. I also haven't adjusted to Riley - I can't say that it is because her character is underdeveloped or that I just dislike her in the team dynamic. If it wasn't for Greg's, Nick's, and even Hodge's characters, I probably would stop watching it.
I was pleased with this episode. It was the first one I've really enjoyed since Grissom left.
I'm not afraid to admit that I like Riley, and I think she could be a great character if the writers would develop her a little more. The hints at a suicide in her past are a great start.
Did the last scene remind anyone of For Gedda? You know, after they proved Warrick innocent and went to breakfast? It seemed so strange to me because I was comparing the old group to the new. Although CSI won't be the same without Grissom, Sara, and Warrick, I think it will survive. At least for me. I think Ray is coming in quite nicely. Riley, not so much. I wish they would have kept Ronnie instead. I actually would love to see Wendy in the field. What are all your thoughts?
