Hi everyone,
Just a few quick tips on submitting trivia for approval:
1. Please try to ensure your grammar and spelling is correct, if there are too many corrections to be made or the wording of your question is confusing then we will not approve it.
2. It is best to answer ALL current trivia questions prior to submitting your own trivia, this will make it a little easier to ensure you are not sending in a duplicate question. I know it is hard to remember all the trivia you have answered but we continuosly get trivia submitted about the girls birthdates, star signs, who their father/s are, who their husbands are etc and these questions will now rarely get approved as they have been asked so many times already.
3. When submitting a fill in the blanks of the spell question please ensure you get the wording of the spell 100% correct. Quite often these are submitted incorrectly and are always being reported for incorrect information.
4. Stay on topic, please try to refrain from submitting questions that are not Charmed related. For example questions like What TV show did Drew Fuller appear on before charmed has no relevance to the Charmed TV show.
5. When you submit a question it is always best in the explanation section to put what episode the question refers to (if the question does not already state the episode title) and possibly a brief fact that covers why the answer is correct. Backing up the answer with facts is almost a sure fire way to ensure people do not report your question for incorrect information.
6. BE CREATIVE. Go back, watch the episodes again, look closely and observe. By now all the major storyline questions have been asked so go back, LOOK and this time, get the nitty gritty stuff that people gloss over. You can be specific. Remember, the point of this quiz is to stump others in a fun way so try to find interesting tid bits of information to use rather than things like what colour shoes was she wearing etc.
Reasons why we may not approve your trivia:
1. When someone makes a simple grammatical or spelling error we try and fix it before we approve the trivia but if there is far too much editing to be done on a question and it looks like we have to essentially re write the whole thing we may delete the trivia.
2. Word your question correctly, if it is confusing or does not make sense it will not be approved.
3. If you ask an obscure question or a question that could possibly lead to debates over the answer we like you to fill in the explanation section so people can see why the answer is what it is. If your question is possibly confusing and there is not a decent explanation to back up your answer we may delete the trivia.
4. Duplicate questions that get asked over and over are not going to be approved. This does not guarantee that there won't be duplicates as there are so many questions being submitted we can't remember all of them but if we do recall recently approving a similar question the trivia will be deleted.
Please also remember, we are approving hundreds of trivia questions every week so there will occasionally be mistakes that slip through, please just report the question politely and explain why it is incorrect and we will sort it out.
Thanks :)
