I dont think Kendra's death was wasteful, I very much agree with you but the way she died was kind of lame...

The lameness of Kendra's death is what got her on the list, not wastefulness.

Actually the reason I created the poll is because Kendra made a teleivision wide list of characters most "lame" deaths.
I mean, come on...she had been trained her whole life to be a slayer and she gets beat by a power we didn't even know Druscilla had? and a pinky fingure nail? pretty lame.

She had the thrall - even Buffy fell for that with Dracula!!

I think the problem with Kendra's training was that she hadn't been trained to think for herself, just by the book, which meant that, unlike Buffy, she couldn't snap out of it.

I wonder why isn't Anya on here? I didn't like her death at all...

I agree with the Kendra being killed gave us faith but it was very uneventful. She doesn't even put up a good fight before Drusilla casts her spell or whatever.

Also I totally get why Tara was killed and understand that it was meant to be a big shock but if you just think about it the fact that she was just standing there, never knwoing what happened to her or why - it is horrible... hmm maybe lame isn't the word but... a waste in a different way?

buffy's first death was sooo lame, and stupid to watch. Its like "the all powerful slayer and the main character of the show gets OWNED in a matter of seconds.. nice.. -_-" LOL
i like kendra's death, it showed her weakness and dru's power. Jhonothan DEFF lame death.. sooo ridiculous. I LOVVVED JENNYS! and Glory's was siick.. it brought us back RIPPER! <3
and anya's death.. was pretty sick. and unexpected.
