How fortuitous was it that both Six and Tigh would be nekkid in season four? NOW we know it will be with each other!

I'm like most people; I can't limit to just one scene. So here goes. In no particular order (as it seems to shift...)

1. Apollo's promotion to Cmdr. in "The Captain's Hand". "[Garner] worked with machines; command is about people."...."Congratulations, Commander!" {Note: First scene in the new BSG to make me cry!}

2. Battle of New Caprica ("Exodus II")- seeing the Galactica getting pummeled, Adama knows it's over...a few shots come from offscreen...more shots...THE PEGASUS...YAY!:) Next thing you know, 3 base ships, TOAST. That's part of BSG that I love!!!

3. "Flight of the Phoenix" - the whole episode, how the posterity and unity slowly builds to the unveiling scene in the hangar....then "the Laura scene". I shed a tear or two every time. (As opposed to cry at Lee's promotion)

4. "Pegasus" - the whole series thru RS I& II. Especially the INITIAL meeting on the Galactica's landing bay. That sense of RELIEF that overwhelms everyone (as portrayed beautifully by the music!!!) This is an odd contrast to the ORIGINAL scene in LL I where it's just plain JOY.

5. Most tear-jerking moment EVER... Lee's going-away party in "Six of One". I write this as I myself am about to change jobs and know how Lee must've felt. Bamber NAILS(!!!) that scene....if you watch his face, as he's shaking hands with various pilots, crew, etc. it looks very much like he's about to burst into tears....whether he was acting or not, he really nails the emotion of that scene to the wall. Convinced me!!

I'm really trying to not think about that.

I just watched the entire fourth half-season online after being ridiculously busy with work while they were actually on air, and I think there were SO many scenes in there...But there are others from other seasons as well. Usually the ones I like best are the ones that make me cry. :P

Season 4: I agree that the scene where Lee leaves Galactica had me in tears (and my boyfriend was laughing at me.) So INCREDIBLY well-acted.

Season 4: . Bill Adama returning, the Adama/Roslin hug, the whole "I love you" moment. *sniff*

Season 3: Helo having to shoot Athena so she could resurrect and get Hera - oh, my gosh, I just can't imagine...having to shoot someone you love...

Season 4: The moment when the troops came to take Tyrol and Anders away, and they tell Starbuck that the two are cylons, and Sam tells her it's true...It wasn't a very long moment, but I think it was SO well acted, and very poignant - just the expression on his face was amazing.

Season 4. The scene where Tory sends Cally out the tube. I was absolutely on the edge of my chair, my hands over my mouth, going "Oh, my gosh, they are actually going to KILL her."
