I'm moving away from Gaeta... The fact that every man and his dog now thinks Gaeta is the final cylon - makes it too bleeding obvious.
RDM certainly doesn't make life obvious for us.

Jammer for the following reasons:

In season 1 when the Cylons boarded, Jammer was found hyperventilating in a causeway and there were bodies all around him. Why was he still alive? Did the Centurions know, much like the Raider knew with Anders??
He also admitted leaving Causeway B hatch open to cover for Chief and Sharon - which the Cylons used.

He largely disappeared until New Caprica - but I need to review s2 and s3 again - and on NC he was a major part of the Cylon Guards, he helped Cally escape, and he was rather prominent on NC.
In the webisodes he was far more integral to the plot, and almost became a starring character.

He was the first to be vented by Zareks Jury, and we didn't see anyone else be vented, that I can recall. Entirely feasible he could have downloaded seeing as the resurrection hub wasn't that far away.

4 in the fleet. Jammers gone.

It would also explain Tighs "you're the fifth!" reaction when he realises he killed his "brother"

I can't see Helo or Gaeta being the final Cylon. It's just not "wow" enough to reveal the fifth. Most people would remember Jammer given his merciful pleading before getting killed off.

I wish it was Jammer! That'd be sweet! Or Cally, she was cool too. I dunno if they would pick someone that died to be the last cylon, that could confuse some ppl. I dunno, none of do, but I can't wait to see who it is.

Is jammer the one that jumped away during the hub batle? U know the were like "you'll never make it back" blah blah blah. Perhaps that colonial emergency signal starbuck's viper picked up was his raptors? Maybe he did make it to Earth if it was a 'blind jump'? Weird how the viper never picked p the signal till he disappeared...

the final 5 are different...they may not be able to download... so anyone who is dead...probably isnt a member of the final 5...also only cylon-human combo's can make babies. so that excludes the Chief's wife.

The guy that jumped away during the Hub battle was Lt. Eammon "Gonzo" Pike. He's the guy that got pistol whipped by Helo on the Demetrius.

1) For starters, you're talking about Socinus and Jammer as if they were the same person.
2) "brother" .. whuh??
3) They made him important in the webisodes so they could kill him during season 3. They weren't gonna kill anybody that we'd actually miss. Noticed they killed Duck from the webisodes off just as quick.
