When the president tells D'Anna that she will return the final 5 to the Cylons when they rejoin the fleet, D'Anna responed with the revelation that there are four... "There are four in your fleet" -D'Anna.

Does this mean that the final Cylon isn't in the fleet at all at the moment??? Theories... It could always be Cally...?

Yeah, I figure it meant that they were dead. This leaves a handful of options... Cally, Ellen Tigh, Kat, Cain, my nana. It could also mean it was one of the several people on the basestar at that time(Helo, Roslin, Baltar), though I'd probably doubt it.

My money's on your nana.

When I read this thread's title I thought there would be an awesome music fanvid to a beatles song. How disappointed was I? ;P

She said the fifth wasn't in the fleet. She didn't say the fifth was dead. The fifth could still be on earth - or the fifth could have been on the baseship.

Either way - I am completely not happy about having to wait to find out until 2009.

But I will watch anyway...

I think it means that the final cyclon is on the base star and not on a fleet ship. Which leaves me completely confused. If not in the last supper picture, then it has to be a minor character......maybe Dee?.

Wouldn't it be something if it were Ellen Tigh? I doubt that it is Dee because, first of all, how boring would that be? and second of all because she is in the fleet. If it isn't someone who has died then they are likely on the baseship! although after they teamed up to find Earth D'Anna made no mention which makes me doubt the second option!

I'm personally hoping that it is Kat. She sacrificed her life in order to make reparations for her crimes and in order to save her friends. I was so sad when she died. It would be so poetic if she led them to their new home now.

We'll have to wait and see though until 2009!!! Urgh!

What about Kendra Shaw? I know it's crazy, but I was watching Razor the other day and she had that same initial fixation (so it seemed) on the radio that the other four did when they found out. Would be a hell of a twist wouldn't it? What if they find her on the destroyed Earth?...

In one of the later episodes, Adama tells Tigh he knows the 6 is pregnant.

Tigh and Six are both cylons, so the baby will be a full cylon child. Number 5?

If the 12th cylon is dead, then D'Anna must know he/she died. As far as we know, there are no D'Anna copies left in the fleet and she herself admits that she's the only Three left in the universe. Thus, any Colonial who has died in space (with the fleet) since the humans and Cylons split at the beginning of season 3 most likely cannot be a Cylon since D'Anna could not have known that he/she died.

Then again, one of those characters is still possible if a Six or Eight gave D'Anna a report on all the Colonials who have died since the exodus. Given how eager both models are to find all the Final Five, this is a pretty reasonable possibility.

Thoughts?

What if the 5th is Hera?

This show has been known to blow minds before, and nobody would expect Hera to be the 5th...

We hear Tigh say 'you're the fifth?' in a sort of disappointed-disbelieving voice for the preview of the next half season...

Hera still has a role to play if Roslin, Athena, and the Six still keep having the visions of the Opera House...
