Idk... I heard that M. Night is gonna change the way firebending works, so that they can't just make fire, there has to already be fire for them to work with. XP

I also don't think they would change major parts out of the show like that. It would anger most of the fans of the show and they would lose sales badly because they made such a change.

No, I don't think so. I don't think they would change something as big as that. Plenty of different movies use similar terms anyway.

i never thought about that. but it does seem like the kind of thing a mainstream movie would do

Is anyone else worried that they will not call Aang the "Avatar". I only say this because in the trailer they call him the generic term "the chosen one", and with that other movie coming out called "Avatar", I fear that they won't call him the avatar.

After seeing the teaser it would be hard to believe that the movie will not at least look awesome. Ans M. Night is a good storyteller. I empathize with the anticasters really I do but I want to see the finished product.

First of all, M. Night Shamaylan is big fat PHONY!!!!

Ya got that? PHONY!

Second of all, he didn't even know what Avatar was until his 7 year old kid made him watch the show. Since then he was "hooked". Has anyone noticed that with all of these petitions and protests that he still hasn't said ANYTHING about the cast? Sure...the casting directors are responsible but MNS is as well to a degree. The actors have to protray the characters' essenses yes. But the people are not going to be able to focus on the movie if they're too focused on "Why don't they look like the character?"

It's like if Harry Potter's character role was given to an African-British person with very dark skin. "Oh let's just give him green contacts!"

(-__-)* Really?

I'm not seeing this movie. Shaymalan wouldn't know a good movie even in it crawled up his ass and ate his prostate gland with his kidneys for dessert.

I agree with Rubix. Although, I am a little bit unsure about M. Knight abilities as the Director/Producer based on his recent movies (aka "The Happening").
This trilogy is too important to be half-assed!
