There are lots of questions users ask us many times, and we have decided to put together an FAQ area where you can find the help you need when using this application.
Please check the ENTIRE list for answers to your questions. If the help you need is not listed, then post your problem as a reply to this thread, and we will answer it to the best of our abilities, and hopefully add it to the FAQs for further reference so that others can benefit. If you do not read this and you ask a question that can be answered here, your question will not be answered.

Please keep in mind that there are thousands of users on this application and we are doing our very best at serving the7th Heaven community!

Q’s ABOUT QUOTES:

• My quotes aren’t appearing on my profile, what to do?
o Click on “Customize Profile Box” and check “Display memorable quotes”
• What do I do if I don’t want quotes to appear on my profile?
o Click on “Customize Profile Box” and un-check “Display memorable quotes”

• How do I find a particular quote?
o In the quotes section, you can search by clicking on the character who said it.

• How can I favorite a quote?
o Go to that page, and once you have found a quote you like, underneath will be a tab that says “*Favorite this”. You can have up to 10.

• How do I submit a quote?
o Go to that page, and in the left hand side underneath “Recruiting Stats” will be a tab to click that says “Submit

• How do I report a quote?
o Underneath the quote when in the Quotes page, there will be a little link that says “report”. Click on it and state your case.

• Where can I find more “Addicted to …” shows?
o You can see other shows by clicking on the more next to the new shows at the top of this screen.

Q’s ABOUT TRIVIA:

• What is a team score and how can I not be a part of it?
o A team score means that all your friends that have the application are grouped together, and the total trivia scores are combined. Unfortunately, you cannot get rid of this feature. This does not affect your individual score.

• Why has my submitted trivia not been added to the application?
o This could be one of many reasons. We could have a backlog in approving trivia, your trivia may have been a duplicate and therefore deleted, or your trivia may have had too many errors or inappropriate content.

• I’ve answered all the trivia, now what?
o You will just have to wait for new questions to be approved. A good way to tell if your question has been approved is to check the application homepage, and at the top underneath the tabs it will tell you how many new things have been added. You can also request to have your trivia reset.

• Why does it say that I have answered all the trivia when I only answer 1 or 2 questions daily?
o Some days we only get 2 or 3 questions that are approved.

• The trivia screen is stuck, what can I do?
o First re-fresh the page, next update your score and see if it works after that. Then if that doesn’t work, exit the application and re-enter it. If you’re still stuck, try checking back in a few days and usually the problem has been resolved. It is possible that too many users are online, the application is under system maintenance or the server is experiencing some problems.

• How do I submit a trivia question?
o Go to that page, and in the left hand side underneath “Recruiting Stats” will be a tab to click that says “Submit

• How do I update my score or remove it from my profile?
o When in trivia, next to your total points there will be a tab that says “Update score”. If this doesn’t work, go to your “Customize Profile Box” and make sure you trivia score is checked. If you don’t want to show your score, uncheck the box. If you click update score you will not be able to update it again unless you re-enter the application. If this still doesn’t work, click customize profile and make sure the settings are correct. Then click done.

• Why can’t I report a trivia question that I know is wrong?
o Chances are the trivia was locked by the officers for a reason. Examples, the trivia has been verified by the officers despite numerous user reports, in appropriate reporting due to minor spelling differences in British English and American English, the question is reported too many times, etc.

• Can I see the trivia I created and can I edit it?
o Yes you can see them by clicking on “My trivia questions” in the Trivia screen. No, you cannot edit your trivia. That is what the officers do.

• How do I know how many trivia questions I’ve submitted?
o Go to trivia, and underneath the tabs at the top of the screen will be a link that says “My trivia questions”. Note that this is only a sum of the approved and active questions, not questions that were deleted or are unapproved.

• I have this application on other networking sites. Why isn’t my trivia score the same?
o Technically, you’re a different user on the application on other sites. There’s no way for us to link accounts. Our system has no way to know that any particular Myspace user is also a Facebook user. We can't go by name, as that may be different, and we can't ask people, as that leaves it open to abuse.

• How do I report a trivia?
o Underneath the trivia question, there will be a little link that says “report”. Click on it and state your case.

• Why have the photos I’ve uploaded not been added to the application?
o This could be one of many reasons. We could have a backlog in approving photos, your photo may have been a duplicate and therefore deleted, or your photo may be inappropriate content or copyrighted to another website.

• How can I favorite a picture?
o Go to that page, and once you have found a photo you like, underneath will be a tab that says “*Favorite this”. You can have up to 10.

• How do I submit a photo?
o Go to that page, and in the left hand side underneath “Recruiting Stats” will be a tab to click that says “Submit

Q’s ABOUT QUIZZES:
• Why have my quizzes not been added to the application?
o This is most likely due to a backlog and is awaiting us to approve it. If we were to delete your quiz, you would be sent a message in your inbox telling you exactly why.

• How do I submit a quiz?
o Go to that page, and in the left hand side underneath “Recruiting Stats” will be a tab to click that says “Submit

• How can I get the quizzes to not appear on my profile?
o Go to “Customize Profile Box” and uncheck the quizzes.

• Can I retake a quiz?
o Yes, go to the quiz you want to retake and there will be a button with the retake option on it.

• Can I reset or delete my quiz scores?
o No. That is not currently an available option.

• Can I see how many quizzes I’ve created/taken?
o Yes, go to the quizzes screen. Underneath the tabs at the top will be two links where you can view your quizzes taken and submitted.

• How do I report a quiz?
o Underneath the quiz, there will be a little link that says “report”. Click on it and state your case.

• Why has my blog not been added to the application?
o This is most likely due to a backlog and is awaiting us to approve it. If we were to delete your blog, you would be sent a message in your inbox telling you exactly why.

• How do I submit a blog?
o Go to that page, and in the left hand side underneath “Recruiting Stats” will be a tab to click that says “Submit”

Q’s ABOUT THE APPLICATION IN GENERAL:

• Who decides what the application content is?
o The officers. We’re those people on the homepage that have our pictures on the left hand side of the screen. Also, you will know we’re an officer by all of our postings; our names are highlighted in green. You can contact us for help, questions and concerns at any time.

• Someone is harassing me because of my submission(s). Help!
o Please email the officers the text with the harassment (or paraphrase what you remember) and who did it, and we will take care of it. We will warn, suspend or block users depending on the level and frequency.

• I don’t want the Friends application to show up on my profile anymore, but I want to keep the application, how do I do this?
o Go to “Customize Profile Box” and change your settings.

• My discussion topic/wall post/etc. was deleted, why?
o If you said something inappropriate or that we felt was not good content (example: advertising) it was deleted to preserve the rules. If something has been deleted that was a question that had a quick answer, it was to conserve space for more recent topics, or it has already been answered.

• How long does it take for my submissions to be approved?
o Usually it takes 1 to 2 days. If there is a backlog however, it could take up to a week. Keep in mind though, that your submission could be duplicates or have inappropriate content and may have been deleted. We get hundreds of submissions every day, so remember that we’re doing our best!

• How do I edit my display name for the Friends Application?
o Go to your profile, and in the left hand side next to “Send message” there will be an option, click there to change.

• Is there a limit to how much I can submit?
o No.

• How do I view my Friends profile?
o Go to the homepage of the Friends application, and in the left hand side it will say “Welcome” with your name next to it highlighted in blue. Click on your name, and you will be taken to your profile.

• Why does it say on my profile there are no contents to display?
o Click on customize profile and then click done. If this doesn’t work, remove the application then install again.

• I noticed I made a mistake on a quiz/trivia question/etc. but I can’t fix it or report it. What should I do?
o Please send us officers a message that states what the error is and we will find it and fix it.
